Hi can you please include the directories of the light and USB drivers from step 8 because I cant find them?ĮDIT: very important information to be noted: Please let me know if you think I missed anything or if I should add anything. I actually just asked this question yesterday, no one replied, so I made my own answer. I just didn't do this step, because for my needs, I really don't care about either of these. Both of which you could probably get working by using 7-Zip to manually extract the drivers from the 64bit driver installers in the bootcamp directory (either one, this is where some experimenting comes into play), and installing them manually. The only things that don't work for me is the light sensor, and the SD Card slot. *you should now be able to reboot and have a nearly perfectly functioning system. Now it would be a good idea to double check C:\Windows\System32\drivers and make sure the new version was successfully installed. Now navigate to the folder containing the NEW version of bootcamp and go to BootCamp-041-55643\BootCamp\Drivers\Apple\AppleHAL and right click the MacHALDriver.inf file (single large gear if you have extensions turned off) and select install. While still in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers directory you must also locate the file MacHalDriver.sys and rename it to Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and find the file WUDFRd.sys you will need to take ownership of this file by right clicking and going to security, afterwards you will be able to delete this file, go ahead and delete it now. But DO NOT REBOOT or else you'll be greeted by a BSOD on login. You will need to run the installer in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

Now go ahead and install the OLDER version of Bootcamp, and let it finish. Go ahead and install your GPU driver before going ahead, it wont hurt anything to have it installed first, plus you wont be stuck in 1024x768 anymore.

This will not cause the BootCamp install to fail, it will just cause it to skip installing the NVIDIA drivers which you can do yourself with the download from NVIDIA. Next go into the first folder created by Brigadier (the older version of BootCamp) and open the driver folder and rename the "NVidia" folder. But the version on NVIDIA's website is still newer than the version supplied by Apple, and comes with the NVIDIA Control Panel which the apple version didn't install on my computer. OPTIONAL IF YOU HAVE NVIDIA GPU: Download the latest drivers for your GPU from NVIDIA, yes they are still there despite how old they are. (This step should have created a second folder called "BootCamp-041-55643" Open a CMD prompt and cd to the directory where brigadier.exe is located and run the following command, brigadier.exe -model iMacPro1,1 This will download BootCamp Version 6.0. (This should have created a folder named "BootCamp-xxx-xxxxx" where x's are the release number in my case it was "BootCamp-031-11269" which is Version 4.0) Run Brigadier like normal and allow it to download the version of BootCamp Support appropriate for your Mac. So here is how I got it working on my Macbook Pro. Unfortunately every single guide I came across just made things worse, caused constant BSOD, or kind of worked, but lacked proper functionality of things, mostly the Keyboard, and Touch-pad.

So i have an mid 2010 15" Macbook Pro, i ran older builds of windows 10 no problem for years, but apparently with build 1903 somethings changed, and there seems to be a lot of guides floating around on how to get it working.
